My strongest area of
work is the composition of each object and how they’re placed. Also, I was able to get the picture so that there was nothing left over from the background. I
could probably improve on making my pictures look like they weren’t actually
photoshopped and that they were the way they are originally. I could improve on
putting shadows under objects and making it so that they don’t look like
they’re just floating. It was easy using
the quick selection tool because you could easily select whatever you needed to
select and you could also undo selections that you didn’t mean to do. It
was hard using the magnetic lasso tool because sometimes it would select parts
of the picture that I didn’t want to select, and I’d have to deselect, and then
it would end up deselecting too much stuff. I used the quick selection tool, the magic wand tool, the lasso and
magnetic lasso tool, the elliptical marquee tool, and obviously the move tool. I
used a different selection tool for each object, and got to see how
difficult/easy it was to use each one. If I did this again, I would probably try
and add a shadow to each shell to make it look like it’s actually on the plate
and not floating/making it look like the picture was made in Photoshop.
